About Me and My Practice

I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with my MSW in 2010. Since then, I worked in case management, crisis services, community mental health, and ultimately opened my therapy practice in 2016.

My practice is focused on treating adults with trauma and dissociation, as well as neurodivergence and many other mental health presentations. I make efforts to run my practice from a social justice perspective in recognizing external barriers my clients face to accessing care, as well as impact on how they are experiencing their lives. I am in community with and serve LGBTQIA+ (trans inclusive), BIPOC, and neurodiverse communities and firmly believe in the importance of intersectionality in social justice approaches.

I treat clients using a multitude of techniques including EMDR, DBT, CBT, DBT, MI, and ACT.

I am also a Certified Geek Therapist through Geek Therapeutics, which means I use geek culture as a language for presenting the above methods for clients who feel also feel connected to geek culture.

I also am a member of the EMDR International Association and have a Certificate in Trauma and Dissociation through the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.

I love living in Seattle and am proud to call it my home. I love visiting various places in the city as well as playing video games and board games with others, fiber arts, watching favorite shows with my two cats, and practicing yoga.
